
It’s that time of year where the holidays we just had feel like they were 3 years ago, and next Christmas feels even further away!
So the challenge begins for leaders with how to motivate employees, whose performance feels a lacklustre. For many the natural reaction would be to hone in on individual team member activity and perhaps give more direction, watch more closely, maybe even schedule more meetings. But what if I said these micro-management actions may be counter intuitive? What if instead of looking outward, you instead look inward?
